View Full Version : First Colt post
A couple old snub nose colts. The lower one is from 1936 and was carried by my late great uncle for years.

Great Pistols.
When Colt stopped making them, they got REAL pricey REAL fast.

Real pricey is an understatement. I like colts and they made some good guns but the current price just isn't realistic for many of them. I looked at a python this week for 1295 that had head shake like crazy, blue peeling and the trigger felt like sandpaper. I smiled and set it back down.

Tell me about it. I had an Anaconda Stolen when I got broken into back in september, and the insurance company is reall weary about replacing that gun.

Nice Snubbies. How do the shoot? I shot a friends J-frame recently and was surprised at how well it shot for such a short barrel. Never owned a snub-nose. May have to remedy that.:D

Very nice. The Lawman is a nice one too. Kind of like a detective special on steroids.
