MIAMI – Taurus has unveiled the new Judge Public Defender Polymer. This scaled down model of the Taurus Judge still gives the ability to fire both .410 and .45 Colt ammunition in a lighter, polymer body frame.

The Public Defender Polymer is available in blued or stainless steel finishes and weighs only 27 ounces.

All Taurus Judge models include a fiber optic front sight as well as Taurus’ ergonomic Ribber Grips.

New features include an adjustable rear sight, body styling that conforms to the shooters grip for secure hold and a new target style hammer and trigger.

Saw that at Gander Mountain two days ago..... VERY light weight. Anyone have any good leads on the regular Judge? they wanted $599 for the regular one and $899 for this light weight one.

I wonder how it will shoot? Sure is light weight for the kick it will give (unless the fiber soaks it up a little). Will be nicer for carry.

Polymer or not, it is still ugly.

I guess I am too much of a traditionalist, not too many of the new "designer" revolvers do anything for me.
