Bought a Blackhawk today

The wife joined me on a trip to Sportsmen's Warehouse today to look at handguns. Been itching to get a new gun and have a few on my list. I've wanted a Blackhawk for quite some time. Many, many years in fact. Just never got around to getting one. I was all set to get one in .45 Colt, but then I noticed they had a .41 magnum, which I have rarely seen around here. I've been kind of tempted to get a .41 mag. for quite some time now. So now I have a dilemma. But it gets worse, as I find out they have a Cimmaron model P, another gun I want, but haven't found around here. Sheesh! I thought this was going to be easy. I'm glad they didn't have a .45 Vaquero or Glock 30 or I'd still be trying to make up my mind.
Anyway, I got the Blackhawk, 5 1/2" barrel. Now all I have to do is wait the 10 days required in California.:banghead

Congratulations. The blackhawk is a fine revolver, and the 41 is a fine caliber in it's own right. Hope you are a reloader because those 41 calibre cartridges are brutally expensive, when you can find them. Handloading of course can bring out it's true potential and save you a ton of cash.

I went with the .45 because of the problem finding .41 mag. I may get one, eventually.
