Picked up a New Agent

I had been in the market for an officer ltwt model and came across a New Agent last night at a local shop at a decent price so I gave it a home. Very similar to the Defender I have except that it has a matte blue finish, no sights but rather a trench type sight system without anything sticking up. Very light for a .45 and I plan on it being a carry weapon for me. I'll try to post pictures later today.

I looked this up and it is one sweet looking gun. Nice size. Looks to be about the size of my son's Kimber Ultra-Carry.

They are the size of a kimber ultra carry if not just a little smaller because of the sights and the rear safety being smaller. I had looked at a Kimber but when it comes to 1911's I am a true colt fan so all but one of my five 1911's are colts.

Here's a few shots of my Lightweight Officers. Does anyone have any idea the vintage? I thought is was mid '80's but I can't confirm that.

The Hogue grip is not original. I'll have to dig up the box (it's in the attic) to see what grips came on it originally.
