If i was to bob a hammer, could i have light fire issue's? I already have lighter springs in the gun im just wondering if the loss in hammer weight (inertia) would cause a problem

Typically, no. The spring is the usual suspect for light strikes.

If the factory does the cutt-of the gun should be OK.
If you or a gunsmith does it there is a good chance

The weight of the hammer is not heavy enough to
cause ignition.

I'd like to point out the obvious here. If you bob the hammer AND have lightened springs you COULD be inviting a light strike. If you're going to lighten the hammer I would go back to full weight springs
