Sighting question

If i removed my action from the stock on my 700 could it mess up my sighting?

Typically, NO. But if you were to doing this for bedding or floating the barrel, the point of impact will probably move.

The sights are mounted on the barrel/action. As long as you don't disassemble the barrel from the action, the sights should not change.

That's what i thought but on another forum it was almost unanimous that it would.
