Ohio has this silly law that any gun that can shoot more than 31 rounds without reloading is a "machine gun."

Machine gun's aren't illegal in Ohio. They just need to be properly registered on the NFA registry. The caveat is that the federal law defines "machine gun" differently. Therefore, any firearm registered in the NFA registry satisfies the Ohio requirement for "properly registered machine gun." That is to say, any SBR, AOW, etc. satisfies this requirement.

So, because I have a 9mm SBR I am allowed to use the 33 round GLOCK magazines in them because it's properly registered.

However, I can't use these 33 rounders in a Glock Pistol......until now.

I just got my Glock registered as a SBR, in order to be able to use the 33 rounders in my pistol.

Since it's registered, why not actually have a SBR glock?

I couldn't think of a good reason either. So I went ahead and got one of these:

I must admit, I like it a lot more than I thought I would!!:thumb:

The Glock fits in the frame with NO difficulty. Two push pins, and you open up the shell. You put a do-hickey over the sight that allows you to cycle the slide. Then you close the clamshell over your Glock and close it up. I need to get a red dot for it. I'll get a cheapo one for now. If I like it, then maybe I'll get a GOOD Aimpoint or Eotech for it. We'll see.
