Rossi Hammer Nose broke

I was dry firing it, like an idiot and the hammer nose broke off. It is a SS Rossi 357mag with 6" barrel, six shot, model MODEL R97206

What S&W hammer nose would work on it?

I'm not sure if a Smith hammer will work on that or not. There was a time when Rossi and Taurus was a direct knock off of smith and wesson revolvers, and all the parts were interchangeable.

However, Rossi revolvers are covered by their "Lifetime repair" warranty (http://www.rossiusa.com/repair-policy.cfm). You may want to try them out. Dry firing a revolver shouldn't break anything.

I cant, it was imported by interarms--no warranty!

It is hard to tell if you have tried to contact Interarms or not. If it were mine, I would contact Interarms anyway. Let them tell you they won't back up one of their products, don't make the decision for them. Or contact Rossi, they probably have a service center in the States somewhere that would have the part you need.
