NJ conceal carry

Is anyone here from nj. I'm from nj and wanted to get a conceal carry permit. But everyone says you can't. Anyone have any tricks to get one.

We used to live in South Jersey and heard same thing -darn near impossible unless politically connected or a body guard. Even the Republicans tend to be anti-gun. Too bad because one really needs to be armed particularly in NJ's big cities. Good luck and keep us posted if you can get it done.
