What are your thoughts on the new Tarus Judge which shoots both .410 shotgun and pistol loads? Anyone have one? Some of the videos on youtube show it to be a pretty lethal weapon for close in protecton.

It is the largest, heaviest and ugliest pistol ever made. One has to ask, "Why make a pistol that will shoot shotgun shells?"
Go with the Tracker in .45Colt. It's a better and more reasonably sized gun. I've never owned a Judge, but have fired one quite extensively. I have owned the Tracker and found it both a better gun and more sensible.
Just my two cents.

I'll have to agree with OFallon as to it's being large and ugly. (Probably had a Glock cousin). On the other hand I think it'd make a great house gun.

I want one. I want to find someone to mill me an 8" barrel with choke tubes. I'd love to try it on skeet. ;)

Sorry Jim, I think the judge is uglier than the glock. That cylinder looks like something made in a blacksmith's shop back in the hills. How much fire and heat comes out the sides of that cylinder gap?? Hey, they must not be all bad, I saw one being used by the main character in previews of the movie "Max Payne" He used one to blow some huge holes in bathroom stall doors.
