Santa brought me a real range bag to replace the camera gadget bag I had been using (and which my wife says was embarrassing). Also a couple gift cards for indoor range time. No S&W Revolver, but there's always my birthday in February.:D Merry Christmas!

Oh my. That is NICE. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

With an example like that to motivate me I may take on my little Model 60 with the 3 inch barrel and nice wooden Hogue grips.

Santa literally has a blister on his finger right now, right near the end of the index finger.

My brother bought himself an AR-15. He told me to wrap it up and give it to him in front of his girlfriend, so she doesn't know he bought a new gun and can get it into the house. Does that count?

Max, I hope you left Santa some milk and cookies for his effort. Or a ham sandwich and a beer.

And that work he did deserves a thread all by its self, perhaps in a gunsmithing category, to help others toward the same goal and to keep us off the streets and out of trouble.

There is no rocket science involved but I can do a write up of how I do it. Happy to report santa's fingers feel much better this morning.

I'd like to see the write up in addition to other maintenance and other gunsmithing. Maybe a tutorial on reloading 101, too.

BTW, forgot to mention I got Christmas money for wood grips and thumbloader for my bersa and for a concealed carry jacket. Also, a S&W tactical flashlight which uses 123 batteries and is super bright.

Santa gave me this so I can play around in the dark ;)

Unimax red tactical Laser. http://www.lasermax.com/product.php?id=104

I am seriously impressed. I was playing around sighting it (unloaded, of course) and I was able to paint a dot on my back yard fence, 100 feet from my porch THROUGH the double pane sliding glass door in direct sunlight.

Cool laser! That shining on a bad guy's chest should make him think twice.
