Ammo Stock piles

So how much ammunition do you have stock piled right now. I'm guessing not including 22 ammunition that I have around 4k rounds.

RJ what is the bulk of your ammo, .44 .357 etc? Mine is mostly 38 and 45 acp.

I press 45 acp, 38/357, 9mm (my dad's favorite plinking round). I plan on getting dyes for the 44 specail/magnum soon.

I'm a lightweight, about 1000 rounds of 9mm (my favorite target ammo), 500 of .40 and about 200 each of 45 acp and .380. Oh, and the 2000+ rounds of 22LR ;)

Walmart and Winchester white boxes are my friend..... But I do have about 50 rounds of .40 and 45 acp defense ammo that I don't get at Wallyworld.

I have at least a dozen cans of 30.06 still trying to get rid of in the garage. About 2000 .45 and close to the same in 9mm. I have never enough 5.56. Tons of misc that I don't even have guns for...

I try to keep a 1000 rds for every gun i have. 45,380,357,223,7.62,,,,, but when i buy my barrett 50.cal i don't know if i can afford 1000 rds of 50 bmg, almost forgot 1000 rds of 44 mag

Most of the locals here in Utah are really into stockpiing ammo. 10,000 rds is nothing to these guys.

I believe I'm pretty much set for life too. I'm not buying ammo right now, I get all I want for free. My wife just bought me several cases of ammo. My youngest son also bought me several cases from a cop at this school who's going through a divorce. I may not buy any more .556 or .308 (hardball). I'll probably keep buying hunting ammo, and extra defense ammo for my pistols even though I have a lot of that. I figure if I replace what I shoot, I'll be good to go for most any eventuality - except maybe a prolonged shooting session by my sons.
