I will be shooting a USPSA match this coming Sunday. I shoot the revolver division with a six inch SS Colt python that has been mooncliped, this will be my first USPSA match in three years as I have been involved in ICORE pretty heavy for the last six years. Our ICORE club was the largest in the USA, but due to poor range managment in Boulder City we had to disband. Not that I really mind, running monthly matches is a LOT of work, now I am only a shooter and can enjoy it once again.:gun:

I've been thinking about trying IDPA in the revolver class, using a Ruger GP100 .357. I just got it back from the gunsmith after having the action cleaned up and lightened and the chambers chamfered. Going to take it out this weekend and see how it does.

Loaded rounds are held in spring metal clip(not magazine) for faster loading and unloading. Your gun must have the cylinder modified for the moonclips to fit, but this is fairly cheap usually under $100.00. If the job is done by a gunsmith who knows what he is doing you can still use loose ammo as in a non-mooncliped gun. I hope this picture helps.
