Nice Surprise

Stopped to visit a local guy who will soon be joining us on our company's Board of Directors. He owns a very successful ag-related business but I did not know much about him personally. We got to talking handguns. Turns out he is a real handgun guy, even has an FFL and runs a side gun business. He took me into his "show room" (actually an empty office) and pulled out lots of new goodies. He had S&W .500, .460 and .44 Magnum lite-weight. Also a "Mil" revolver built in tennessee. It was the predecessor of the Judge, shooting .410 and .45 Colt and is now out of business. He also had Desert Eagle .50 and .44 models, H&K .40. He said he is authorized dealer for those brands and many more and sells at his cost plus a small markup ($10 for me) -- more of a hobby than a business. Also said he buys ammo in bulk and will sell to me at his cost. He specializes in 1911's and Glocks. Said he can gunsmith them and offered to go over my SA 1911. He invited me to go shooting when my wrist heals - actually shoots at the same Rod & Gun club I belong to. Really nice surprise.

Sounds like fun. Maybe during this spring, we can do it on 2 wheels!! That should give that hand and wrist of yours time to heal, and we can go shooting too!!
