Well I use a couple of different guns to conceal. The easiest to carry and conceal IMHO is a S&W 649 I have that I carry in a pocket holster. It leaves almost no print, it weighs loaded under two pounds and can be carried on the bike or anyplace without any issue. I also like to carry a colt 45 acp but it is more limited because being an in the waistline holster and wearing jeans and T's a lot it makes concealment more of a challenge. Of course if you have any kind of light jacket or heavy clothes of any kind it isn't a problem at all with a good Galco holster.

I have an AMT Backup in .45ACP. I've heard stories of reliability problems, but have had none so far. Fits in my pants pocket so well using a pocket holster, I hate to give it up.

Strong side Hi-Ride blet holster. I always wear the "Mechanic" type shirts. button down short sleeves usually. It hides it pretty well.

Mark that is fine, revolver is just the name but if it's a handgun I'm a fan of it. I like rifles also but any handgun gets me going.

My two carry weapons, or I should say those I carry the most. I have others but these are the most concealable.

I carry a P3AT everyday, everywhere. My regular carry is either the .45acp or the Browning BDM. I am looking for one of the hammerless S&W revolvers to carry.

Hello Paul
I have always carried a S&W revolver with a hammer. My reason for this is simple, Most Hammerless S&W-J-Frames have heavy double action springs and accuracy fails for me at least. I Shoot my-J-frame much and have become very accurate with it. I like the option of cocking it with a hammer while shooting it or trying it in double action mode. Most I see on my Range that fire in double action mode are not close to being accurate. I carry a S&W 431-PD chambered in .32 H&R Magnum caliber in the hot summer months then switch over to my Chrome Plated Pre-30 revolver Chambered in .32 S&W Long loads for winter. I handload my self defense loads for both of these revolvers and Know either can do the job should I need them. Here is a Pocket holster I recently Purchased off Flea-Bay with a Best offer Option. It was made by David Bullard of Azel, Texas and the cost was $19.95 Plus $5.95 shipping. It is by Far the most rugged best fitting Pocket rig I have ever owned and reasonable in price as well.I Like the small Tab of leather the maker left to protect the carry person from Hammer bite or Printing...:) Hammerdown

My primary ccw weapons are a Glock 23 and a Colt Combat Commander.

I do have a 3" S&W 66 I carry occasionally and a model 60 in .38 special. I leave the hammers on all my revolvers. I have had the hammers on these two guns bobbed to about half length; they still allow for a good thumb grip when I want to shoot single action.

As I have said in the past, I carry a 4" S&W N frame in 45 ACP. Usually in a Bianchi 5BH or Baker Pancake holster, strong side.

However, a 4" S&W M15 just came home and while it will not replace my N frame, I did notice it seemed to want to stay on my hip!

Those k-frames do have a weight advantage over the n-frames - at least for us who are not as young as we once were. :D Wait until you try one of the sweet little Model 60s with the three inch barrel.

Hello Strawhat
I agree with Jim on this that the K-38 Combat Masterpiece is an easier one to sary and I have a Dash-4 In Nickel shown. I will say once you carry a -J-frame for awhile in the Air-Weight series all Others will carry like a boat anchor... Hammerdown

I have carried all sorts of S&Ws. For 7 years my AmEx gun was either my M36 2" or my M36-1 3", both 38 Special. On duty I had an off duty holster for my M19 for when the situation required I be in plain clothes. I just have come to prefer the simplicity of the one gun system.

One gun, one load, one holster, I like it simple.

I also prefer the larger bore available in the N frame.

Maybe with some more range time using the M15, I will consider a change but my hair style hasn't changed sine Mr Reagan was president, somehow I doubt my revolver will change either.
