SAA with 4 inch barrel

I saw several Colt SAA's at the CCA show (Reno) that had non standard 4 inch barrels and it was love at first sight. I just had to have one. A wonderful dealer at the Houston all colt show put things in motion and now I have mine. It's a 45 Colt and the colors on the frame are not to be believed.
Just wondering if anyone else out there is an affictionado of these.

Don't think I've ever seen one.

I do prefer the shorter barrel (4 5/8s) on the SAA and I probably would like one with a 4 inch tube just fine.

How dare you? Talk about a new gun with beautiful case coloring and not post pictures.:bat:
I love the SAA style guns but personally can't afford the real thing right now. The Italian clones will have to do for me. One of these days I'll get one or three. Now let's see some pictures of that new Colt so we can drool.

I'm a serious techno-klutz but will try and get some pictures up. I need to get a bit of help from my son or a friend. I'll try and show my 4 3/4 BP frame and the 4 incher together.

I have never owned a 4" Colt SAA but have admired quite a few. I once considered a 4" USFA SA as a possible carry gun, but never took the plunge.

I'm not too sure a 4" SA could be carried comfortably under some of my jackets, and the plow handle grip "prints" fairly obviously.

But, those things are nice to behold!
