This has been reported for several days if not weeks. The they the state legislature is trying to take the money out of the trust funds specifically for the CWP program and if the Gov vetos it, the funding supposedly will come out of the education programs. They're really trying to strong arm it!

"TALLAHASSEE — As more people in Florida seek concealed weapons permits, Agriculture Commissioner Charles Bronson wants Gov. Charlie Crist to veto a $6-million raid on a fund that pays for the program.

Bronson's request presents a timely opportunity for Crist to score political points with gun owners just as he's embarking on a race for the U.S. Senate."

Ahhh.....the socialist way. Take money from programs that make money and give it to programs that fail. Makes perfect sense......in COMMUNIST DOCTRINE.

Any of you that read your last issue of America's 1st Freedom already know that Marion P. Hammer successfully protected the trust fund money dedicated to the states Concealed Carry program from getting raided by the state congress to make up the budget gap.

If you don't receive the America's 1st Freedom publication then this might be the first time you've heard about this news. Marion P. Hammer used to be president of the NRA awhile back.
