I use a Dillon 650 for all of my reloading duties. I know they are pricey, but DAMN they're fast, and accurate. I have a toolhead setup for 9mm, and one for 45 acp and one for 38/357.

What do you guys use?

Hard to argue against a Dillon. I haven't reloaded in 20+ years and I can't remember what equipment I used. We sure didn't have fancy digital scales like now. What a dream.

I had a Dillon 550, but sold it when I got divorced in '99. Great press. I could really crank out the ammo.
I just started shooting again about a year ago and figured I needed to start again so I got a RockChucker. Just got it so I haven't started yet. I'm going to use it to load .308 match and 44 mag. They're the two most expensive rounds I shoot. I still get Blazer for my .357 as it's not too unreasonable, yet.
For the .308 I figured I want to take my time so I went with the single stage.

Since I shoot in excess of 50,000 rounds a year I need more than one loader. Right now I have three Dillion 1050's, two Dillion 550's, and an RCBS Rock Chucker for my rifle work. I buy my bullets from Montana Gold by the pallet, and my powder from Powder Valley Arms in eight keg increments. My last order of federal primers was for 65,000 assorted large and small pistol primers. In my spare time I try to ride the V-Rods as much as possible.

Shotgun shells are so cheap at Wall-Mart there is no need to re-load them.

Well, we all have different needs. :) That being said, I up graded some years back to a REDDING TURRET PRESS. RCBS didn't make one at the time, and I had tried a Lee and was unhappy with it in the long run. When I first started, with a lee single stage, I stayed away from Dillon because you had to buy THEIR dies. I don't care for that kind of marketing, and while they have wised up over the years, I never saw fit to give them a shot. I am not in a hurry when I reload so there really is no reason to. Others of course, have other needs. :)

I did not know that, my 450 has been chugging along for years with Lyman or someones dies in it. Never missed a beat. Good thing I didn't read this when I bought the press cause I wouldn't have been able to afford it and the dies!

Anyway, to answer the OPs question, I have a 450 set for 38 Special, a Square Deal for 45 LC, another Square Deal for ACP and yet another Square Deal for 44 Colt. I reload the 32-20 on a Lyman Orange Crusher or a red C press (Pacific?)

Fortunately those are all I need to load for anymore and I really don't load for them all that much.

I also cast for all of them when it gets cool outside.

Most of my casting and reloading is done in the winter.

When I was competing, I usually bought bullets (148 HBWC) and reloaded every week. I shot in three leagues and at least every other week for Ohio PPC competition. Lot of good folks in those leagues and more than a few good memories.

I have perched on my bench a dillon 650 and an ancient Lyman spar-t. Both have given good service. I bought the Lyman used 40 years ago and it still cranks out ammunition every week.
