Well, I sold the V-Rod this morning and this afternoon I picked up a S&W 637 with a crimson trace laser and 100rounds of ammo. Can't wait to shoot this thing. I specifically got this for conceal and carry. I also picked up a second Lee Enfield and haven't gotten around to figuring everything out about it yet...all I know is it is in a lot of cosmoline, not sporterized like my other one, and it is a number 4 with peep sights.
This thread is badly in need of photo's................. :)

Ah yes and they are coming tonight as soon as my roommate gets home from work. I left my camera in his car.

Glad to hear it. Since I know little about S&Ws I'd like to see your acquisition.

637 is great small carry revolver. I got one for my wife but I carry it myself quite often. About the same small size as my Bersa Thunder .380 and weighs even less. Kicks a heck of a lot more than the Bersa but is elegant in its simplicity.

Sorry guys, I waited until the enfield was striped, cleaned, oiled, and put back together so that I could post pictures of both of them and now I can't find my camera anywhere. I thought it was in the roommate's car and it's not, nor is it in mine, or apparently in the house. As soon as I find the camera I swear I'll update this thread.

I have a Model 37 that's been with me for about 25 years. About a year ago I lucked into a 637 and thought it was a fine revolver - but someone else did as well and offered my more than I could afford to pass up.
My real favorite is the Model 38 (Lightweight Bodyguard) and one of these days I'd like to acquire a 638 - just for the additional rust resistance. (A real benefit down here in the sweat belt.)
What we need, even more than additional pictures, is a range report - complete with pictures and accompanied by commentary about the lazer grips.

Haven't been to the range yet. Picking up the Ully took priority at the time and I'll get out there as soon as I have the chance. I am taking the rifle to a gunsmith first to have it checked out because of the age.
