A) I certainly don't "need" it as I have a similarily configured Ruger Single Six that works just fine.
B) There are other Colts out there that I'd also like to have (when enough money accumulates). And spending on this one would definately delay other acquistions.
C) It is a Colt and it is a pretty little dear.

Any one have some sage advice/recommendations?
Jim- Just read this. I have NEW FRONTIER, version, fitted with Ivory, And, the COLT holster as well. These are FINE little guns. Mine has been fired in the LR flavor, but never the 22 MAG one. I value this package at 1400.00, if that is of any help. Mine is the 4 3/4 barrel length. I think $750.00 is a bit high for a Scout, but I have a parts gun (Scout) I am trying to get $50.00 for. Needs sight resodered on, and a spring or two, but has original grips-- They are worth $50.00 by themselves. All this JMHO.

Tusker - that looks pretty much like the one I had my eye on - except for the ivory and holster. $750 may have been a bit on the high side, but someone swooped it up at full price and apparently didn't even look back.
